Hey everyone 👋

I’d love to take and show you around our beautiful mountains, so please read this as an outline of what will happen Friday on the 29th after the conference.

TL;DR;

• A semi-guided tour of Sinaia.
• Leave early (9:57) from Bucharest “Gara de Nord” train station.
• Arrive in Sinaia at about 11:30.
• Visit Sinaia, the Peles Castle, eat something local
• We’ll leave Sinaia at 18:12 to Bucharest by train
• Free schedule

Warning! This trip involves quite a bit of hiking as it’s a mountain resort. We’ll be on asphalt the whole time but we’ll move around vertically quite a lot.

Getting to Sinaia

We’ll use Romania’s train network to get to Sinaia as it’s a fast and beautiful way to do it.

We’ll leave “Gara de Nord” (translates to “North train station”) train station at 9:57 (train IR 1623). Please be there at least at 9:20 - 9:30. We’ll be there at about 9:00.

You’ll need train tickets which we can get for you that cost about $30 for the return trip. Please respond before September 15th.

Getting back to Bucharest

We’ll return with the 18:12 train (IR 1734) From Sinaia Station to Bucuresti Nord. If you get lost from the crowd, please be there at least 25 minutes before leaving time.
